This week, we had the pleasure and privilege of doing a guest Facebook Live (via Zoom) in the Corona Daze Professional Development (CDPD) group. The topic of discussion was "Tips on Networking and Managing Relationships."
First, we would like to thank Denett Edwards for the kind invitation to speak to the group! The CDPD’s mission is to increase marginalized groups’ access to employment opportunities and representation in the workforce. The group provides free training, mentorship, and other resources.
Denett created CDPD in response to the record unemployment rates stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Thus, we at Women in Pharma Careers are so excited to partner with her.
We had a lot of fun preparing the slides and our examples, and we hope that the audience and group members will find our tips helpful. Our passion project is something we pursue outside of our demanding day jobs. Therefore, we really appreciate the feedback and hope that we can help others in their career development.
